HELLO EVERYONE!!!

After a long day of debauchery, it is 4AM and Ryan and I have no energy to tell a complete tale of today’s progress. So, for now, here are some bullet-points:

+ We’re moving into a great house tomorrow which we’ll share with the coolest and sweetest landlord we could ask for.

+ We spoke to a lot of people downtown, all of whom seemed very positive about our project and our end goal.

+ We did the Slow Roll: a weekly community bike ride through Detroit. We met the guy who started it with 30 Rollers; he led a group of over 1500 people through the city during the first Slow Roll of the 2015 season.

+ Sunsets here are gorgeous.

+ We saw a bunch of standup comics do their thing at an open mic night; it looked so fun I decided to try it.

That’s the broadly generalized gist of the day. More details tomorrow when sleep has helped us regain the ability to compose a coherent sentence.
